These positions are for multiple vacancies.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of how to setup and operate manual drill presses, grinders, band saws, lathes, and milling machines.
• Knowledge of how to setup, program, and operate CNC or mechanically controlled mills and lathes.
• Knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and correct cutting tool selection based on material being machined.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, sketches, and technical orders.

Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate manual drill presses, grinders, band saws, lathes, and milling machines.
• Setup, program, and operate CNC or mechanically controlled mills and lathes.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective manufacturing plans based on specifications including the ability to reverse engineer an existing part.
• Knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and correct cutting tool selection based on material being machined.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, sketches, and technical orders.
• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance and repairs to machinery they use.
• Inspect and measure machined parts for dimensional accuracy using micrometers, calipers, depth gages, and other forms of measurement.
• Regularly perform assembly of machined components.
