Job Description

Beacon Hill Legal is actively seeking paralegal candidates with at least 3+ years of immigration law experience for a temp in person role with an AmLaw 100 firm. Candidates in Philadelphia, Pittsburg, DC, Dallas, Boston, Princeton, Atlantic City, New York, Wilmington, Greensboro, or Los Angeles are strongly encouraged to apply.

Ideal job candidates will possess substantial prior law firm experience working specifically within a business immigration practice. Candidates MUST come with L-1 and PERM experience , including both proactive and reactive I9 experience.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates must have at least 3+ years of immigration law experience.
  • Will be assisting with preparing and filing employment based applications ( H,L,O,P,TN,EB-1s, NIWs, and EB-2 + EB-3 PERM labor certifications)
  • Will be assisting with the coordination and preparation of complex cases such as O-1 and EB-1 petitions, motions to reconsider.
  • Assisting with the audits of client documents including I-0=9, H-2B,LCA and Perm files;
  • Must have experience with data entry; including detail tracking into case management systems and deadline monitoring.
  • Will be researching and assisting with the preparation of responses to request for evidence, responses to intent to deny notices
  • Will work closely with attorneys, other support staff, firm departments, and directly with clients. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading skills for all drafting of documents and other correspondence.
