Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented Claims Adjuster to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for the duties below which will contribute to overall team success.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for investigating and evaluating claims, preparing and negotiating settlement recommendations.
• Analyze information from various sources, including policy documents, accident reports, witness statements regarding insurance claims, reefer claims and various other claims.
• Manage complex claims investigations, analyzing coverage and damages issues.
• Resolve claims efficiently while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Utilize in-house software for accurate documentation and tracking of claims.
• Abide by fraud prevention detection measures to identify potentially fraudulent claims.
• Maintain informed on all case activity preparing reports for management as needed.
• Organize all records of claims activities and communications on system.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 1-2 years of previous experience as a claim’s adjuster or related.
• Strong knowledge of legal and insurance verbiage regarding claims.
• Fluency both written and verbal with Spanish and & English required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint & Word).
