Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse - Day Shift  
Location: Healthcare facilities across New Jersey 
Duration: 13 Weeks 
Hours: 40 hours per week (4 x 10-hour shifts) 
Schedule: Every 7th-8th weekend, rotating on-call Monday-Thursday, holidays as needed 

Job Summary:  

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a specialized radiology setting. The RN will provide individualized patient care, support procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in accordance with the latest evidence-based practices, policies, and standards. 

• Communicate effectively with patients, nursing staff, and the healthcare team regarding patient status, care plans, and treatment. 

• Administer medications using bar-scanning technology for enhanced patient safety. 

• Perform ongoing electronic documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, interventions, and evaluations. 

• Educate patients and their families on health, wellness, and disease management. 

• Support safe discharge planning and ensure seamless transition of care. 

Required Skills & Experience:  

• Minimum of six (6) months of relevant nursing experience. 

Preferred Skills & Experience:  

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs. 

• Strong sense of accountability and commitment to patient care. 

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. 

• Dedication to continuous learning and professional development. 

Education Requirements:  

• Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) 

• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) 

Required Certifications & Licensure:  

• Licensure: New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. 

• Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA 

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – AHA 

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA 

Languages:  

• English (Speak, Read, Write) 

Additional Information:  

This role requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule and occasional holiday shifts. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic interventional radiology environment, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
