Junior Manufacturing Engineer / Assembly Line Lead (Contract-to-Hire)

📍 Onsite – 1st Shift | 📅 Mon–Thurs: 7:30am–4:00pm, Fri: 5:30am–2:00pm

💰 $26–$27/hr | Contract-to-Hire | Manufacturer of EV Chargers, Cabling Assemblies & Data Center Products

Are you hands-on, sharp on the floor, and comfortable being the go-to person when things go sideways in assembly? We’re looking for a floor-focused technical leader to support operations at a manufacturing facility that builds cutting-edge products for global names like ABB and Anord Mardix.

This is not a design role. It’s a manufacturing support role —think Junior Manufacturing Engineer , Industrial Engineer , or Lead Assembler —you’ll be the first point of contact for any issues on the assembly line.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

Serve as the first responder for any assembly line issues
Work alongside ~30 assemblers to troubleshoot and resolve real-time production challenges
Coordinate with materials, quality, and test engineering teams to identify and fix root causes
Train assemblers as needed and report any recurring performance issues to supervisors
Ensure smooth assembly operations and act as a bridge between production and engineering

✅ What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of manufacturing experience with an Associate’s degree, or 5+ years without one
Hands-on knowledge of the full assembly process in a manufacturing environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills—you’ll need to work across teams
Experience supporting or leading a production line or assembly team
Comfortable working on the floor, aligned with engineering and production management

Not a design or R&D position
Not remote or desk-heavy—this is an onsite, floor-based role
