We have a 3-6 month contract position for a Mechanical Designer for the following:
Our client has a backlog of work involving drawing conversions from imperial to Metric, and also needs help converting old, scanned drawings to 3D (using Autodesk Inventor) models and creating drawings to the latest standards. This position would be onsite, no remote or hybrid option. all work will be completed using Autodesk Inventor. Manager will accept other 3D CAD software such as Solidworks, UG NX but person must be willing to work on Inventor to do this work.
Requirements:
• Looking for a mechanical designer or drafter with strong Inventor and GD&T skills.
• Experience with mechanical components for heavy/industrial/mobile equipment or related equipment.
• Experience with and OK with the bulk of the work involving drawing conversions and converting old scanned drawings into 3D models.
• Experience doing ECO’s and ECR’s.
