Job Title: Project Designer (CADWorx) – Skid-Mounted Generator Packages

Location: Houston, TX

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Designer with strong CADWorx proficiency to join a leading engineering and fabrication company in Houston, TX . This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a compression industry background , experienced in designing skid-mounted, engine-driven generator packages and compression equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize CADWorx to create detailed 2D and 3D designs for skid-mounted generator and compression packages.
• Develop and modify P&IDs, general arrangements, piping layouts, and isometric drawings.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure designs align with project requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and procurement teams to integrate components and optimize designs.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and other relevant codes and standards.
• Support the review and approval process for drawings, resolving design-related issues efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in project design within the compression industry.
• Expert-level proficiency in CADWorx for piping and equipment design.
• Strong knowledge of skid-mounted generator and compression package design.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, and other industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
