Overview

Reed Charters LLC is actively recruiting for a Military Police Operations Planner to join our consultant team based in Honolulu, Hawaii. You will play a crucial role in coordinating Military Police Operations input into policy and Service assessment, serving as a Joint liaison for Service-specific capability requirements for Detainee Operations, Identity Operations, Joint Security Operations, and US Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Homeland Defense Operations.

Work Location

The Military Police Operations Planner will be located at our worksite in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide oversight and advocacy for Military Police capability requirements.
  • Respond to data calls and provide requested information as it pertains to Military Police Program capability requirements and funding.
  • Provide analysis and input into the Service’s institutional readiness process via the Defense Readiness Reporting System.
  • Solicit, collect, report, and analyze resources and data necessary for the planning, programming, budgeting, execution, and assessment (PPBE&A) for the Service’s Force Protection program.
  • Monitor program funding and obligation during all stages of the funding process for all budget proposals that ensures budget requirements and complies with governance standards and relevant directives.
  • Provide comprehensive Force Protection exercise planning support to include development of road to crisis and Master Scenario Event List injects designed to test Force Protection functions and program requirements.
  • Provide technical support in the administration and management of assessment related systems.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of knowledge management entries as metrics to evidence improved Force Protection program effectiveness within approved systems.
  • Prepare meeting minutes and trip reports related to Force Protection plans and operations.

Qualifications and Experience We Require:

  • Active DoD security clearance required to start.
  • Desired former Military Police graduate of a Service Career Level School.
  • Thorough understanding of the PPBE&A process.
  • Knowledgeable about the USINDOPACOM organization, command relationships, assigned commands, and direct reporting units as well as the political military situation in the Indo-Pacific.
  • Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (i.e., SharePoint, MS Teams) and the Microsoft Office suite (i.e., MSWord, Power Point, Excel, etc.).
  • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
