As a developer at SproutsAI, you will play a key role in building and maintaining server-side applications that power our AI-driven products. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain server-side logic using Node.js. Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Build and maintain databases, ensuring data consistency and integrity. Implement security and data protection protocols. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development. Required Skills: Strong understanding of JavaScript and Node.js. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON. Basic understanding of asynchronous programming. Familiarity with database systems like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Knowledge of version control tools like Git. Understanding of basic security practices (e.g., authentication, authorization). Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Nice-to-Have: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with Docker and containerization. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
