Alaant Workforce Solutions is teaming up with a local, growing industry leader in automation controls to expand their engineering dream team in! We’re looking for a PLC/ Industrial Automation Controls Engineer who thrives on designing, integrating, and optimizing cutting-edge systems that drive machinery and processes for top-tier client projects. Work in industries such as advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food processing and water/waste water facilities.

Your Mission as Control Systems Engineer:

• Project Management: Manage or be the team lead on midsized integrated control systems projects.
• Design & Develop: Create cutting-edge solutions, including designing, programming and installing industrial controllers/PLCs (Allen Bradely, etc.,) SCADA applications, and telemetry systems.
• Be the Go-To Expert: Collaborate with clients, guide junior engineers, and ensure every project exceeds expectations.
• Own the Process: From planning to deployment, keep projects on time, on budget, and in compliance.
• Innovate and Document: Maintain clear project documentation and stay ahead with compliance and best practices.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field, engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5 or more years designing, installing, integrating control systems/PLCs with a proven record of success.
• Technical Mastery: Proficiency in PLCs, SCADA, MMI, and AutoCAD. Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Communication Excellence: Stellar internal and external communication skills.
