We are helping Bella Forever Salon find a top candidate to join their team full-time for the role of Professional Stylist.

What makes you a strong candidate:

• You have 2+ years of experience in styling.
• You are proficient in client Experience, hair coloring, haircut, hairdressing, and hairstyling.
• English - Conversational.

Responsibilities and more:

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide friendly and personalized service, advising clients on styles, cuts, and treatments that suit their needs and preferences.
• Haircuts and Hairstyles: Perform high-quality haircuts, hairstyles, and styling techniques, following the latest trends and adapting to each client's unique style.
• Coloring: Apply coloring techniques, including touch-ups, balayage, highlights, and full-color applications, always caring for the health of the hair.
• Hair Care Treatments: Offer treatments that strengthen and beautify the hair, including deep hydration, straightening, and other specialized services.
• Hygiene and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to the salon's health and safety standards.
• Ongoing Education: Participate in training sessions and stay up to date with new techniques, trends, and products in the hairstyling industry.
• Product Sales: Advise clients on recommended hair care products, helping promote salon products.
• Provide an Exceptional Client Experience: Ensure clients feel valued and attended to.
• Participate in Training Workshops: Actively engage in workshops to develop both technical and business skills.
• Promote Additional Products and Services: Suggest products and services that benefit the client and increase revenue opportunities.
• Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace: Comply with hygiene and safety standards.
• Build Collaborative Relationships: Work with the team and participate in projects that contribute to the salon’s growth.

Requirements:

• Cosmetology or hairstyling license issued by the state of Connecticut.
• Previous experience as a hairstylist (at least 2 years).
• Ability to work with different hair types.
• Knowledge of coloring, cutting, and styling techniques.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.
