Job Description

We are looking for a candidate that comes with 1+ years of previous Project Manager and or Estimator experience OR a candidate with 3+ years of Project Coordinating experience that is looking for the next step in their career! Construction industry related experience is highly preferred.

Duties Overview:

• Contact new jobs the same day and document.
• Inspect within 24 hours, upload photos and scope, and finalize insurance details.
• Obtain work authorization, start homeowner selections, and upload estimates.
• Upload scope before adjuster meetings and submit Xactimate estimates within 24 hours for jobs ≤$100k.
• Convert estimates to Work/Purchase Orders and seek Manager approval if needed.
• Review estimates, confirm upgrades, get the contract signed, and upload approval date to DASH.
• Collect payment/deductibles before starting; notify Manager if work doesn't start in 3 days.
• Complete Purchase Orders, upload photos, and enter "Date of Majority Completion."
• Walk the property with the homeowner, obtain the COS, upload it, and collect final payment.
• Attempt to obtain COS within 48 hours, and if not, explain the situation in DASH for Manager approval.
• Ensure documentation specifies invoice destinations and payment sources before completion.
• Obtain insurance and payment details, confirm invoices are sent, and follow up on payments every 3-5 days.
• Update the calendar daily, maintain communication with clients, and log all interactions in system.
• Return calls within 3 hours and emails within 24 hours.

Requirements:

• 1-8 years of Project Manager or Estimator experience
• Knowledge of Dash Job Management and Builder Trend software preferred
• Level 2 Xactimate experience preferred
• Willing to travel within local territory (vehicle provided)
• Strong communicator, proactive, and comfortable presenting
• Able to calculate discounts, commissions, percentages, and measurements. Good problem-solving skills and ability to follow various instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring good depth perception.

Additional Info:

• Pay range: $60k-$65k base + bonuses (avg. 10k-20k on their first year in bonuses)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (some flexibility)
• Location: 50% in the field & 50% onsite in the Woodbury - company vehicle will be provided
