Our Award Winning Client , a nationally recognized leader in healthcare, is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Postpartum Couplet Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift position in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Position Overview
As a Postpartum RN , you will be responsible for the care and well-being of postpartum patients, providing compassionate care to mothers and newborns during their recovery and transition. Your role will involve critical assessments, coordination of care, and the delivery of high-quality nursing interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for postpartum patients
Monitoring and managing the health of both mother and newborn, providing education and emotional support
Administering medications and managing IVs in accordance with care plans
Performing assessments on newborns and identifying any health concerns or deviations from normal
Collaborating with medical teams to ensure optimal care and outcomes for mothers and babies
Documenting patient progress, interventions, and responses to treatment
Providing family education on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
Ensuring adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and evidence-based practices
Qualifications
Required:
Associate’s degree or higher in Nursing
Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license
Certification in CPR
Ability to obtain NRP and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire
Preferred:
At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse, particularly in postpartum or related maternal care
Experience with postpartum couplet care, neonatal assessments, or mother/baby nursing

2 to 5 years of professional nursing experience
