Job Title: Sales & Estimating Lead

Location: West Allis, Wisconsin

Position Summary

We are seeking a Sales & Estimating Lead who is ready to hit the ground running to help drive our growth in 2025 and beyond. The ideal candidate is a ROCK STAR salesperson—someone who loves building relationships, closing deals, and juggling multiple projects at once. This individual should possess strong time management, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Google Sheets (and other related software). Construction industry experience is a plus, but above all, we are looking for a motivated go-getter eager to learn, grow, and take advantage of a high-earning potential .

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new and prospective clients.
  • Establish strong rapport, both in-person and virtually, to understand client needs and ensure an excellent customer experience from initial contact to project completion.

Project Intake & Preliminary Budgeting

  • Use our intake forms and tools to gather detailed client requirements, preferences, and budgets.
  • Create preliminary cost estimates leveraging industry knowledge, historical data, and feedback from project managers.

On-Site Visits & Detailed Measurements

  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, take measurements and gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
  • Communicate any potential challenges and solutions clearly to clients.

Detailed Estimating & Proposal Creation

  • Utilize Google Sheets, Excel, and other software to develop thorough estimates and project proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (designers, project managers, etc.) to refine scope, pricing, and timelines.

Sales Presentations & Negotiations

  • Present proposals and estimates to clients with clarity and confidence.
  • Address questions regarding project scope, timeline, and costs; negotiate and finalize contracts.

Follow-Up & Client Care

  • Maintain open lines of communication with clients to handle revisions, concerns, and ongoing inquiries.
  • Foster positive client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat/referral business.

Time & Pipeline Management

  • Organize and prioritize multiple leads, estimates, and projects simultaneously.
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date records on sales activities and forecasting, ensuring a clear view of the sales pipeline.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and Project Coordinator for successful project handoffs.
  • Participate in team meetings to refine the sales process, share lessons learned, and stay aligned with company goals.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven Success in Sales
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets (construction industry preferred, but not required).

  • Construction Knowledge (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with residential remodeling or construction processes, plan reading, or trade experience.

  • Technical Proficiency
  • Advanced skills in Google Sheets (required).
  • Proficiency with other Microsoft Office Suite tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to learn and utilize project management, CRM, or estimating software.

  • Strong Communication & Interpersonal Abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently present proposals and negotiate with various client personalities.

  • Organized & Detail-Oriented
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills to handle multiple deals and site visits.

  • Self-Motivated & Team Player
  • Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Driven to learn, adapt, and excel in a growing company.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary + Commission Structure

  • Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience).
  • Commission: We expect to sell $2,500,000 in 2025, and we are offering 5% of the total sales volume.
  • Additional annual performance bonuses may be available based on company and individual goals.
