Key Responsibilities
• Own the Next.js 13 web client end-to-end—architecture, performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and pixel perfection.
• Shape our GraphQL layer (graphql-request + graphql-ws): 5+ years designing schemas, queries, and mutations with type-safe codegen.
• Ship real-time features over WebSockets/subscriptions and maintain a reusable Tailwind component library.
• Drive tests (Jest, Playwright), accessibility checks, and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• Profile, split bundles, and monitor errors with Sentry.
• Collaborate daily with design, product, and a Python/FastAPI-based backend team across four continents.
What you bring
• 5+ years React + TypeScript, deep Next.js (SSR, ISR, routing, edge/runtime).
• Proven GraphQL mastery (5+ years).
• Expert eye for pixel-perfect UI and responsive layouts with Tailwind.
• Clear, concise technical communication.
• Bonus: familiarity with CRDTs, OT, WebRTC, or similar collaboration protocols.
