Job Description

Store Manager-Newbury Street

NEW STORE OPENING- July 2025 | Boston, MA

Retail Leadership | Full-Time

Are you a retail leader with a passion for style, service, and growing exceptional teams?

A well-established British luxury womenswear brand is expanding into the U.S., and we’re looking for a dynamic Store Manager to lead the opening of one of our flagship U.S. stores.

With over 35 years of heritage in crafting elegant, timeless pieces, our brand is synonymous with understated sophistication and customer devotion. We are known for our exceptional service, curated collections, and strong presence in the UK, US, and Germany through direct-to-consumer channels and beautiful brick-and-mortar stores in London.

This is your chance to be part of something exciting — a new chapter in the U.S. retail landscape. We're looking for a people-first leader who is both operationally savvy and customer-obsessed. Someone who leads with integrity, inspires a team, and thrives on growing a store from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow a flagship store in one of our key U.S. markets, ensuring an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint
  • Hire, develop, and inspire a high-performing retail team with a culture rooted in kindness, craftsmanship, and collaboration
  • Drive store profitability and operational excellence through insightful planning, performance coaching, and sales leadership
  • Be a visible and accessible leader, modeling strong clienteling, expert styling, and an unwavering commitment to the customer
  • Analyze store trends, staff performance, and product mix to drive smart decisions and maximize store potential
  • Champion loss prevention strategies, visual merchandising, and local market engagement
  • Provide constructive feedback to HQ on sales trends, customer feedback, and inventory needs
  • Uphold all health & safety, stock management, and brand compliance protocols
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, building meaningful relationships with the community and local clientele

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience as a Store Manager in a premium or luxury retail environment
  • Proven success in building teams, exceeding sales targets, and creating exceptional customer journeys
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to coach team behaviors to drive KPIs
  • A leader who is organized, solution-oriented, and calm under pressure
  • Confident communicator with excellent time management and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with retail POS systems
  • An eye for style and a love for storytelling through fashion
  • Experience in apparel, womenswear, or boutique environments a strong plus

What We Offer

  • A unique opportunity to launch and shape a flagship store for a beloved UK brand entering the U.S. market
  • A supportive and values-driven company culture with growth opportunities
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and employee perks
  • The chance to make your mark with a brand that values heritage, quality, and heart

If you're a passionate leader looking to take the next step in your retail career — and excited about the idea of being part of a brand’s U.S. expansion — we’d love to hear from you.

Salary $95-$110K based on experience (plus bonus and benefits)
