Job Description

Wireless CCTV is looking for a qualified Territory Sales Manager based in the Houston metropolitan area. The successful candidate comes to us with a proven track record in B2B sales of security as a service or industrial equipment rental services to general contractors in the construction industry.

The Role

The Territory Sales Manager maximizes revenue in every commercial opportunity and negotiates contracts on the best possible commercial terms for WCCTV with new customers within the assigned territory. This is truly a sales "hunter" role.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Identify and create new business opportunities within the Construction vertical in a designated territory in order to drive new business in line with monthly targets associated with new installations, contract length and contract value.
  • Identify potential customers using various direct methods such as telephone and in person cold calling. Utilizing CRM, Contract Database and business journals to identify new leads.
  • Identify potential customers using various indirect methods such as referrals, networking events and social media. Identify new leads from the information collected.
  • Effectively plans and manages daily and weekly calendar ensuring work is performed in order to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue KPI targets.
  • Identify, qualify and assess each customer’s needs to determine suitable products and services.
  • Work closely with Inside Sales development team in order to maximize the resource in line with your personal lead generation goals.
  • Utilize the Company's CRM system to prepare all quotes, pipeline and business development activities, contact information, meetings, notes and any other relevant information.
  • Perform in-depth and informative reporting on activities for review by internal Sales management. Provide regular updates on market conditions and competitor activity, including upcoming threats/opportunities, as necessary to assist new product development and marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three to five years of direct B2B outside sales experience in the general contractor construction industry, selling security as a service or selling industrial equipment rental services.
  • Previous experience selling to end users through a consultative sales approach is required.
  • Proven track record in B2B direct new business sales. Must be competent in cold calling and have key characteristics of a ‘hunter’.
  • Must have proven track record in achieving activity-based sales targets on short and/or medium sales cycle.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, sales planning process, pipeline development and forecasting.
  • Proven ability to identify sales opportunities and leverage internal & external resources appropriately. Strong qualification skills are a must along with a proven ability in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • An excellent communicator who can build, develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers and internal staff with ease.
  • Excellent organization, time management and attention to detail are a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare complete accurate quotes and proposals as well as sales orders is required.
  • Effective negotiation skills required. Previous experience using CRM such as Salesforce/Sugar required. Effective computer skills to include MS Office, Outlook, Teams and other related software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to drive throughout the Houston metropolitan area for sales calls and site surveys. May be required to travel outside of area for tradeshows, sales calls and other events.
  • Must be able to navigate active construction sites.

Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work in the US.

Compensation and Benefits Offered:

  • Competitive base salary of $60,000 to $70,000 per year depending upon experience and up to $50,000 bonus/commission per year for total on-target earnings of up to $120,000.
  • 10 days paid vacation (increases with length of service) + 7 public holidays.
